Women Caring for the Land

August 18, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for a day of women-centered learning on the prairie! We’ll hear from landowner Nici Flann about the practices and programs she has in place that have improved the health and productivity of her land.

We’ll also hear from North Dakota Forest Service’s Forest Stewardship Manager Liz Smith about proper forestry practices on the prairie and Juli Bosmoe from Audubon Dakota about how prescribed fire can be an effective management tool. Throughout the tour we’ll identify grassland birds and wildflowers we observe. Lunch and refreshments provided.
