The Jamestown Knights of Columbus Council #1883 is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive on the weekend of Nov. 17-19. They are going to match up to $10,000 in donations! You can bring your monetary or non-perishable food donation to the St. James Basilica parking lot on Friday, Nov. 17 from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The food drive will conclude on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Club 1883 with a chili cook-off and bingo event. The cook-off will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and is a free-will offering for all those who want to taste the various chili entries. Bingo will go from about 12:30 pm-2:30 pm. There will be 10 rounds of bingo where you will be playing for $50 gift cards to Hugos Cashwise, or Club 1883, followed by a final 50/50 blackout bingo game. There will also be secondary prizes and a candy bouquet raffle between each round of bingo. The St. James Basilica Youth Group will be providing concessions at the event as well.
