The Valley City Eagles Club will be hosting a spaghetti feed, silent auction and bake sale for Sue Olson.
Sue was born and raised in the Lisbon/Milnor, ND area. Sue is a long time resident of Valley City, being the manager of the old Hardees/Burger King for the last 35 years. Sue is also an avid volunteer for the “Cowboy Up Ride Against Cancer“, which is held in McLeod, ND the 3rd weekend in August. Now Sue is in need of our help as she is fighting her own battle against cancer.
Sue was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer last year, which has spread to her lymph nodes. Sue is undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo. She has to have treatments every 3 weeks. There will be a spaghetti benefit, silent auction, and bake sale at the Eagles Club on August 10th from 4–7pm. Any and all help is appreciated! There is also a benefit account set up at Wells Fargo for those who cannot make the benefit but wish to donate.
