The Jamestown Blue Jay Athletic Department will be holding their first annual Jim Christ Memorial
-“Bend Your Knees” Car Wash fundraiser this year. This community service project has the Blue Jay
coaches and athletes teaming up to raise money for various needs in the community of Jamestown. The
event will also be used to provide college scholarships for our Jamestown student athletes. This event
will be used to honor Jim Christ, a devoted Blue Jay fan who passed away in 2018. Jim’s favorite saying
to all athletes was “Bend Your Knees”. We will embrace the meaning behind the slogan and “bend our
knees” in service and give back to our community. There will also be food provided at the event. Come
out and enjoy of day of food, fun and fellowship…and get your car washed!
