The Christmas Craft Show is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at the Jamestown Civic Center. Admission is free. A gingerbread house competition will be part of the event, with the public choosing the winners.

Here are the rules for the gingerbread house competition:

one entry per person or group
entry must be made entirely of edible materials except for the foundation but must not contain any food item that needs refrigeration
entries can be original creations or store-bought kits and be any structure (house, barn, church, train, etc.)
Entries must be delivered to the Jamestown Civic Center from 5 to 9 p.m Saturday, Nov. 5. There is no fee to enter the competition.
The public will vote on the entries during the Christmas Craft Show, and the winners will be announced on Monday, Nov. 7, on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/jcccraftshow/ and https://www.facebook.com/jmstnciviccenter/

Prizes that will be awarded are a $100 gift card for first; $50 gift card for second, and $25 gift card for third. Prizes and entries must be picked up before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8. Entries not picked up will be discarded.
