In the Spring of 2024, our dear friend and family member, Jonnie Lynne Mortensen, was diagnosed with an intimate form of cancer. The care necessary to treat Jonnie’s cancer involved extensive travel including two trips to Sioux Falls for surgery, daily trips from Wimbledon to Fargo for radiation, and several trips to Jamestown for ongoing treatment and follow-up doctor visits. The travel expenses, time missed from work at her job with Collins Aerospace, and mounting medical bills, have caused a financial hardship for Jonnie. By hosting this benefit, we are hoping to help alleviate some of this financial stress on Jonnie’s behalf.

Please consider supporting our event by donating gift certificates, merchandise or baked goods to be sold at the silent auction and bake sale or monetarily to help offset the cost of the food and supplies needed to host the pork loin feed.
