CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City 7th grade student Jonah Kauffman won the local school competition of the Geography Bee held earlier in Valley City.

Kauffman will take another test to see if he can qualify for the state competition to be held on April 1st.

The state champions will all compete in the National Geographic Bee championship May 22-25 in Washington D.C.
