(NewsDakota.com) – The latest NAIA Top-25 polls were released this week. The polls are the first since the preseason poll back in October. There was a lot of movement on both the men’s and women’s side. The women dropped four spots into a tie at No. 10, while the men were inexplicably left out of the poll.
The women finished off a 7-2 stretch over Thanksgiving weekend with a pair of convincing wins in Iowa. One of their two losses is to Concordia (NE) and the Bulldogs are ranked one spot ahead of the Jimmies. Jamestown will return to action on Monday when they battle Concordia (MN) in Moorhead.
The men were inexplicably left out of the Top-25 despite a 7-3 mark against a very tough schedule. Earlier this week they pushed two NSIC teams to the end. “The only poll that matters is the last one, I actually kinda like that we can play with that chip on our shoulder,” said head coach Danny Neville on being left out of the poll.
