N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A system that slowly moved into North Dakota from the south brought with it plenty of snow for the holidays.
The Bismarck National Weather Service estimates snowfall in the James River Valley to be around 3 to 5 inches with more in various areas. Warmer temperatures allowed snowfall to melt and freeze, causing roads to be icy in the area. City crews were out early this morning to clear roadways in the community.
Allow yourself time to travel today as roads are slick. 2 to 3 more inches of snow are expected to fall throughout today as the winter weather advisory continues.
