JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A franchisee of Snap-on Tools recently presented a $5,000 check to the Help for Hope and Healing Cancer Support Group for cancer patients.

The money came from sales of pink socks, which were sold by Ben Pesek along with his tools. Laurel Haroldson, Chairperson for HHH, stated that the socks were sold in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The donation will help cancer patient’s with travel expenses. Since September 16th, the group has given out numerous gas gift cards to assist individuals.

The areas of assistance include New Rockford to Ellendale along with Oakes and Valley City.
