N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Orphan Grain Train has been a volunteer organization for 22 years in North Dakota, but most recently came to Jamestown in 2014.

Orphan Grain Train was created when a pastor traveled overseas and saw the devastation war brought to Europe. His idea led to the creation of OGT. Elissa Rosin, Manager of the Jamestown Branch, stated that they are new to the community of Jamestown.

The mission of the group is to provide basic needs to individuals and groups all over the world. After moving into the old CH Carpenter Lumber building, they have been focusing their efforts on the country of Liberia.

The group will collect the needed materials and ship them directly to Liberia. They are always looking for volunteer help and donations. They are open every Monday and Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM.
