CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) More housing is needed in Valley City.
Two apartment buildings with a total of 36 units have been removed for permanent flood protection in Valley City. Another 36 additional units are set to be removed between now and 2020.
Valley City resident Rich Scheuneman asked city officials what the plan is to replace these structures.
Valley City Commissioner Matt Pedersen said the Valley City Barnes County Development Corporation is addressing this issue.
