CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The “National Blue Ribbon” plaque and Banner were on display during a special ceremony last night at Washington Elementary School to recognize the National Blue Ribbon Award.
Dept. of Public Instruction Superintendent Kirsten Baesler, a VCSU graduate says the commitment of so many people within this school district is obvious.
Principal Chad Lueck says the award is an attribute to hard working teachers and students in the school.
Senator Heidi Heitkamp says the success of this school is due to a number of people in this community.
Senator John Hoeven praised the school and community.
