N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man is facing charges after leading law enforcement on a foot chase Wednesday night.

The Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office reports that a man was being stopped for a suspended license Wednesday evening at around 8:00 PM when he stopped the vehicle and fled on foot. The man left his dog behind in the vehicle with its head trapped in the window. The unidentified man was chased for several blocks until he was apprehended near the Northland Estates.

The dog was freed by officials and is reportedly okay. The driver apprehended will be charged with driving with a license under suspension and a second charge of fleeing an officer.
