N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During a special session meeting last night, the Jamestown School Board addressed a complaint about the physical accessibility in buildings.
The complaint came from the Department of Education with a district office in Chicago regarding a complaint on the physical access to buildings and grounds in the district. The School Board reviewed findings and had legal questions answered by attorney Meredith Vukelic.
The board voted unanimously to accept OCR recommendations. Construction to fix these issues will begin while schools are not in session.
