N.D. (AP) – The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to ,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or people who shot two dogs and two cats in Stutsman County.

Two dogs were shot Aug. 9 in the yard of their Montpelier home. Both of the Pyrenees dogs survived the shootings and are recovering from their wounds.

A cat was found dead Aug. 26 with a bullet wound to the head near its Ypsilanti area home. Another cat was shot in the stomach Sept. 7 in the yard of its Ypsilanti home and died the following day.

Anyone with information regarding the shootings is asked to call the Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office at 701-251-6200.
