N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Individuals are hard at work to finish the new Jamestown Bus Stop at its new location.
The project is converting a garage near the First Congregational United Church of Christ at 119 2nd Avenue SE into a bus shelter and ticket office for Jefferson Lines. A goal of $20,000 for the project has been set, and according to Charlie Kouraijian, the project is community based and has seen great support.
Jefferson Bus Lines currently provides the only public transportation service west to east on I-94 that passes through Jamestown. They will also be providing a computer and ticket printer at the location so individuals can purchase their tickets onsite.
