N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – More information has been released on an incident that occurred Friday, September 25th involving a Kindred School Bus and numerous semi’s.
According to their report, a school bus owned by the Kindred School District was struck on Highway 46 by a Semi. Both the bus and semi came to rest on the Highway with the bus facing east in the eastbound lane. A short while after, another semi struck the other semi, causing it to spill it’s load of soybeans.
64 year-old Bus Driver Cathryn Jostad was transported with serious injuries. All semi drivers were uninjured. There were 34 students, 2 teachers and 1 para-professional on the bus. None of the students or staff were transported or treated for injuries.
The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
