(NewsDakota.com) Brody Bartholomew had a night that he, and others who saw what he accomplished, soon won’t forget.

The senior running back/linebacker had almost 300 yards rushing, scored five rushing touchdowns, converted a two-point play, had an interception, forced a fumble and recovered that fumble to assist in Oakes High School’s 35-22 victory over Milnor/North Sargent on Friday night.

The Bulldogs, who were celebrating homecoming, saw Bartholomew score three consecutive touchdowns in the second quarter, after Milnor/North Sargent scored the first points of the game. MNS (2-3, 0-2 Class A Region I) had two rushing touchdowns from junior quarterback Jacob Nelson.

Oakes (3-2, 2-0) heads home to Cummings Field for a date with Carrington on Friday, October 2.
