Henry “Larry” Palmer, 76, of Jamestown, ND, died early Tuesday morning, September 22, 2015 at Eventide.

Lawrence Henry Palmer was born on December 11, 1938 in Carrington, ND, the son of Norbert and Elsie (Backer) Palmer. He was raised on the family farm and attended school in Courtenay, North Dakota. In 1967, he moved to Jamestown where he worked at the Coca Cola Bottling Plant, North Dakota State Hospital, Grain Inspection, and then the Jamestown Truck Plaza for ten years before retiring in 2009.

He married Diane Rindt and they made their home in Jamestown. Larry was a member of St. James Basilica and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed square dancing and playing cards.

Larry is survived by two sons, Keith (Heather) Palmer, Fargo, ND and James (Angela Huebner) Palmer, Jamestown; two grandchildren; three sisters, Elaine Neva, Mandan, ND, Judy Luidahl, South Bend, IN, and Linda (Jay) Steinwand, Star, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Diane; and sister, Elsena.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
