N.D. (NewsDakota.com) A fiber optic line was cut west of Casselton and knocked out phone line and other services for customers in Barnes and Stutsman Counties yesterday.
Century Link Spokeswoman Rachel Woodman says it took crews several hours to locate the cut line, and then it was quickly repaired.
In Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist says phone line and other services were fully restored shortly after midnight.
The fiber optic line was cut about 1:16pm and restored to most customers by 10:48pm Monday, September 21st.
