CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liner volleyball team was looking to get into the win column for the first time this season in the Eastern Dakota Conference. 

However, the Fargo South Bruins had other ideas in their 25-20, 25-13 and 25-11 match sweep over the Hi-Liners.

Valley City drops to 1-9 overall and 0-3 in EDC play. Fargo South is 9-1 overall and 2-1 in the EDC. 

The Hi-Liners will look for that first conference win on Friday at 7 p.m. against the Grand Forks Central Knights from the Hi-Liner Activities Center.
