N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tom Delpino is a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department and on Tuesday at Shubert’s Carpet One in Jamestown, he discussed his experience with the 9/11 terrorists attack.

Recently retired, Delpino travels on behalf of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation and its Building for America’s Best program. During his presentation, Delpino gave a shadow box containing a piece of steel taken from Ground Zero, where the World Trade Centers collapsed and burned, to Shubert’s Carpet One.

The shadow box was given to Shubert’s Carpet One for supporting the “Building for America’s Bravest” program. For more on the program, you can click here.
