N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The deadline to apply for a turkey license is fast approaching for the state of North Dakota.

According to the North Dakota Game & Fish Department, the season has been set with 3,655 total licenses available. That’s 150 fewer than last year. Outreach Biologist Doug Leier pointed out that the deadline to get signed up is next week.

Leier pointed out that only a small number of licenses are available for Unit 47.

Deadline to apply is September 2nd. Fall wild turkey season goes from October 10th through January 3rd, 2016.
