N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A local group that has volunteers as foster parents to abandoned and sheltered pets is seeking more help.
Kaye John is with Prairie Paws Rescue. They are a non-profit organization that was started by seven Jamestown, North Dakota volunteers who are dedicated to rescuing pets in bad situations. The organization doesn’t have a physical location in Jamestown, but rather have several pets in foster homes in the surrounding area. She stated that the organization is always in need of more foster homes.
The group hosts a meet and greet every second Saturday of the month at Tractor Supply Company in Jamestown. Individuals interested in becoming a foster home for pets can call 701-320-4553 or visit prairiepawsrescue.com.
