N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – USDA Rural Development has announced Ryan Taylor as the new State Director for Rural Development in North Dakota.

According to Acting State Director Bill Davis, they’ve been very busy since the previous state director’s resignation in May.

“Since Jasper Schneider’s resignation in May, we have been busy implementing our work plan, staffing and program goals that Jasper and his management team previously crafted. As acting director, I have enjoyed leading that effort, but also am looking forward to new leadership.” Davis pointed out.

Taylor served in the North Dakota Senate from 2002 to 2012, serving three sessions on the Agriculture Committee. He is from Towner, North Dakota and will start the presidential appointment on August 10th.
