N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The 2015 edition of the Central Regional Legion Baseball Tourney will start at 11:00AM Wednesday with four games in Hatton.  Eight teams will be participating in the double elimination tourney starting tomorrow and running through Sunday.  Carrington Post 25 (13-1) is the defending champ and overall number one seed and will play the first game of the day against the number eight seeded Hillsboro/Central Valley (2-12).  

Game two at 1:30PM, will feature number two Mayville (12-2) against number seven Hope/Finley (2-12).  The third game at 4:00PM will have number three Gardner (9-5) against number six Harwood (3-11).  The last game of the evening at 6:30PM will have the host and number four seeded Hatton (8-6) against number five seeded New Rockford (7-7).

All Carrington and New Rockford games will be broadcast on AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com about 15 minutes before the scheduled time.  

The top two finishers will advance to the State Class B Legion Baseball Tourney held in Lamoure starting August 1st.  Carrington and Nelson County advanced last year from the Central Region, Carrington went on to become the State Class B Champs and eventually lost to Wahpeton in the Class A vs. Class B final.  Nelson County is not in the region anymore, they moved to the Northeast region this year and currently reside in second place.  You can find the complete Central Region bracket below.
