N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Public School Board and Jamestown Education Association have reached agreements that have concluded their negotiations.
Teacher salary agreements and district policies through 2017 were reached after a unanimous vote to ratify the two-year master agreement. Approximately 10 non-teaching professional positions were approved with a $2,000 flat increase. In addition, all support staff received a $1-per hour increase at a total cost of roughly $158,000 to the district.
According to the master agreement, the district will provide more than $2.8 million to the Jamestown Education Association group’s health plan for the next two school years.
