Hochhalter, 86, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, July 18, 12015 at Ave Maria Village with her family by her side.

Phyllis Mae was born August 14, 1928 in Glendive, MT, the daughter of Peter and Rachel (Opp) Moser. She received her education in Medina, ND and graduated in 1946. Phyllis married Albert Hochhalter on November 16, 1947 in Medina where they made their home and were active in the community and their church. She worked for Borth’s Store in Medina for 50 years. Phyllis was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Medina, the Ladies Aide, American Legion Auxiliary, and Medina Senior Citizens Center. She enjoyed horse shows, watching sports, especially basketball and baseball, and always attended home games and most out-of-town games. Phyllis also enjoyed ice cream and popcorn.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Charla (Dwight) Wegener, Jamestown; grandson, Corey (Heather) Wegner, Jamestown; great-grandsons, Peter & Hunter Wegner; granddaughter, Andrea (Larry Hanson) Wegner, Ypsilanti, ND; step great-granddaughter, Josie Hanson, Ypsilanti; sister, Shirley (Roddney) Hanson, Las Vegas, NV; brother-in-law, Walter (Betty) Hochhalter, Butte, MT; three sisters-in-law, Addie Drew, Mesa, AZ, Chery Moser, Medina, and Dorothy Moser, Jamestown; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ole Trautman, Oscar & Dorothy Moser, and Darlene Borth and family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert, on November 22, 1993; parents, Rachel and Peter Moser; brothers, Roger Moser and Curtis Moser; sister, Darlene Slavick; brother-in-law, Kenny Slavick; sister-in-law, Darlene Moser; and great-grandson, Tucker Wegner.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Good Shepherd Chapel, Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Visitation: 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.
