N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A dream was realized for Olvia Larson when she was crowned the North Dakota Outstanding Teen during the Miss North Dakota pageant on June 6th in Williston, North Dakota.
The road to becoming Outstanding Teen for North Dakota started for Olivia when she was 14. Larson stated that her aunt really pointed her in the direction of pageantry at that age.
Larson was crowned out of the other eighteen competitors. Her talent was playing the classical piano piece “Toccata” and her interview platform was “Exposed: Social Media Etiquette”. Olivia stated that her platform is a very serious thing in today’s world.
Larson will represent North Dakota in the National Pageant on August 1st in Orlando Florida. There will be a week-long competition with the crowning of the next Miss America’s Outstanding Teen. Larson will be a senior this year at LaMoure High School and is planning to attend college for Organic Chemistry.
