N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – June boarding’s for the Jamestown Regional Airport were at near-record levels, being higher than they have been in the past 30 years.

SkyWest Airlines saw 736 passenger boarding’s for the month of June, the second-highest number since their service began in Jamestown. Earlier this year, letters had been sent to local businesses pointing out the cost-savings of flying out of Jamestown as opposed to Bismarck or Fargo.

The airport has reported that early July numbers show the possibility of reaching over 700 boarding’s by the end of the month.
