(NewsDakota.com) – It appears the University of Jamestown is searching for a men’s hockey coach. A posting indicating Jamestown is at least entertaining the idea was found on NCAA Job Market.

According to the posting, which was put online July 8th, UJ is looking at hiring someone soon to recruit this year in preparation for a 2016-17 season:

“University of Jamestown seeks a head coach for men’s hockey program. UJ is seeking to start an ACHA Division 1 men’s club hockey program that would ideally begin play in 2016-17 academic year with the coach recruiting student-athletes during the 2015-16 academic year.”

The ACHA is a club league that has teams across the country; including Minot State, Iowa State, Arizona State among many others. Minot State won the national championship in 2014.
