CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) Construction for Valley City’s Permanent Flood Protection Wall and the Wellness Center is underway.

The first phase of permanent flood protection is along College Street on the Valley City State University campus. Here are a few photos by Steve Urness.

And construction on the Valley City Health, Wellness and Physical Education Center is also underway along 8th Avenue Southwest near the W.E. Osmon field house.

Below are a few photos of the first phase of that construction project in Valley City.

Once the $16 million Wellness Center is completed next year the Valley City Park & Recreation Department will run the facility. All photos by Steve Urness.
