N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Helene Neville is a nurse, grandmother, author, health activist and a cancer survivor. And on September 5th, 2015, she will be one of only four runners to completely run around the perimeter of the Continental United States.
Running more than 25 miles or more daily, Neville is looking at setting a record running the perimeter of the U.S.
Her planned path will take her up to Jamestown. She is scheduled to arrive on Friday, July 10th and will stay through Saturday to participate in Jamestown’s White Cloud Days Parade. When asked why she was running, she stated it was for many different causes.
On Friday, Helene will be running from the Jamestown High School Parking lot to the JRMC to help raise awareness of cancer. Everyone is welcome to join her. You can view her website here for daily updates on her run and where she’s been.
