N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Architects for the proposed Two Rivers Activity Center were available for public comment on June 23rd in Jamestown.

Principal Architect Brian Berg with Zerr Berg Architects of Fargo was present to display the current design for TRAC as well as the cost, size and future projects that could occur with the center. Berg stated at the beginning of the forum that the main reason for the session was to gather public input and fix the plan to match what the residents want.

Residents brought up different issues with the center including the size of the pool and the need for more childcare space. One resident brought up the concern of the center being focused on just team sports facilities and that it didn’t have as much of a family focus.

The architect will be available for another public forum on the design of the center and he will be listening to possible changes proposed by residents. The next meeting will be held July 8th at the Thompson Meeting Room at the Jamestown Middle School and will have a focus on the aquatics center.
