N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has reported having paid more than 3,500 in taxes to counties in which they own or lease land.

The 2014 in-lieu-of-tax payments are the same as property taxes paid by private landowners. The department manages more than 200,000 acres for wildlife habitat and public hunting in 51 counties, excluding Traill or Renville counties. Below is the full list of counties and the amount paid by the North Dakota Game and Fish.
