N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With the growth of Jamestown expected in the next 5 to 10 years, other areas are experiencing issues as far as growth is concerned.
State Representative Jessica Haak has been contacted by numerous constituents and friends about the concern of childcare in the community of Jamestown and surrounding areas in Stutsman County.
Representative Haak pointed out that 90% of families in Jamestown have both parents working jobs, leaving their children needing childcare.
The first of two planned forums on the issue will be held today at 12:07 PM at the Gladestone Inn and Suites. The second forum will be June 29th at the same time and location. Parents in Jamestown and surrounding communities are encouraged to ask questions and give ideas on how childcare can be addressed. The forums are free and open to the public.
