N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The heavy rainfall in the area has continued to damage rural county roads in the state.
According to Stutsman County Commissioner Dale Marks, money is being made available from the state to help with repairs, but is going fast due to the rising need. Highway 10 near Spiritwood has been affected and the commission is looking at different formulas that could be used to assist in fixing the road. Commissioner Marks stated that the commission was working with GRE and Interstate Engineering on the project.
Other works by the county included some resurfacing projects, but with water build up over the roads in many areas, crews will need to wait for dryer conditions in order to complete the projects.
