N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During the May 14th Jamestown Downtown Association meeting, a co-partnership with the University was agreed on.

According to the meeting minutes, Gary Van Zinderen with the University of Jamestown announced that they were looking for a co-partner to help with the Community Block Party. Over 100 booths were present last year and assistance will be needed to help put the event together. It was decided that the Jamestown Downtown Association would partner with the University to assist with setup for the event.

The Block Party is hosted by the University of Jamestown to welcome new and returning students into the community of Jamestown. Local businesses and organizations attend the annual event.
