CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) The permanent flood protection project work is currently underway along College Street in the Valley City State University area.

A KLJ project spokesman says the paved parking lot east of the walk bridge is closed as wel as part of the parking lot west of the walk bridge. The VCSU walk bridge will remain open, but there are other detours into the campus around the construction project.

5th Ave SW, Viking Drive, and College Street will remain closed until further notice.
