N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – It was announced that Casselton Ambulance Service had partnered up with Ringdahl EMS and there will now be Advanced Life Support service in the area.

Casselton had been a licensed Basic Life Support service since 1978, but has now had a newly established partnership that begun January 1st and allows Advanced Life Support to the area. Currently, Ringdahl EMS operates five rural ALS services, an EMS education division, an accredited paramedic certification program and instructs first aid and CPR training. They have offices in Minnesota, Jamestown and Lisbon.

Ringdahl EMS Operations Manager Randy Fischer pointed out that BLS service is still critically important and ALS service will be beneficial to the area.
