(NewsDakota.com) Seven members of the Oakes High School Track and Field teams have qualified for the 2015 State Class Track and Field Meet.

All the Class B boys relay teams will feature representation from Oakes. The 4×100 and 4×200 meter teams have Preston Anderson, Blake Hollingsworth, Carter Zetocha, Ethan Zetocha and Bryce Meehl, while the 4×400 team consists of Anderson, Hollingsworth, and Carter and Ethan Zetocha. Hollingsworth will also run in the 100, 200, 400 and 800 meter runs, while Anderson will take part in the Triple Jump.

Layne Schmit was able to qualify in the 1600 meter run at the Southeast Region meet in Lisbon on Saturday. On the girls side, Shelby Gelinske will compete in the Triple Jump.
