N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City Engineer’s Office has announced the closure of the Inert Landfill to the public due to the large amount of rain received in the area.
According to City Engineer Reed Schwartzkopf, the public will not have access to the landfill during this time. City Employees will continue to use the landfill. Heavy rainfall this past weekend has made the inert landfill virtually impassible and dangerous to travel to.
The city will announce when the public can safely haul items out to the landfill again.
