(NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Hi-Liners could only muster 3 runs in their double-header with the Fargo South Bruins in Eastern Dakota Conference baseball action. 

The Bruins took advantage and swept the Hi-Liners 3-1 in game one and 12-2 in game two. 

Valley City drops to 5-18 overall and 2-15 in the EDC. 

The Hi-Liners return back to diamond when they host Fargo Davies at Charlie Brown Field on Friday. Game one of the doubleheader starts at 5 p.m.
