N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 40 year-old Shawn Durfee was injured in a car and motorcycle accident Tuesday afternoon in Jamestown.

According to the Jamestown Police report, 91 year-old Helen Burleson of Jamestown was stopped at a stop sign when she proceeded into the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 2nd Street Northwest and struck the motorcycle Durfee was driving. Durfee was transported to the JRMC with a severe leg injury and later flow to the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Burleson was not injured in the accident. She was cited for failure to yield after stopping at a stop sign.
