N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Spiritwood Energy Park Association Board met for a special meeting on Tuesday, April 14th to discuss the Spiritwood Energy Park development.
Senior Project Manager Rich Garman started by informing the board of the newly installed rail loop switch at the park.
Garman also stated that the rail loop is now in service and 60 ethanol cars were delivered the week of April 6th and continue to slowly trickle in. Road work to access the park is currently being finished up with roughly 2½ miles of the road already complete. Items that still require attention include site clean-up, mitigation land, and signage of both the road and rail switches.
Other items addressed during the meeting was the farm cash rent agreement with Rudolph Farms. A rail loop crossing to access the farm land west of the plant will be installed. Greg Ridderbusch stated that the construction camera currently at the site will be taken down at the end of the month as most of the visible construction at the site is completed.
