Colton Albohm, 65, of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, April 6, 2015 at his home. John was born on June 12, 1949, in Yonkers, New York, the son of John C. and Shirley (Morris) Albohm. He graduated from Oak Ridge Military Institute/High School, Oak Ridge, NC in 1968. John enlisted in the US Air Force in August of 1968, serving in Denver, CO, Kedina, Okinawa, and Minot, ND where he was discharged August of 1972. He went to NDSCS to be a machinist and started working for Western Gear in 1976 as a machinist. On October 10, 1981, John married Doreen Schmidt and they had three children. John worked at Goodrich until his retirement in 2010.
John enjoyed playing the drums in bands, building computers, and fixing cars.
He is survived by his three children, Colton, Fargo, Cody, Fargo, and Chase, Jamestown; sister, Karen (Doug) Brown, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
