Amanda Kae Creviston-Lerud, the daughter of Roger Lerud and Cindy Creviston-Lerud, was born on June 21st, 1992 at the St. Cloud hospital in St. Cloud, MN. Amanda went to Rice Elementary in Rice, Minnesota. Her family moved to Valley City during the summer of her 7th grade where she attended Valley City High School until her graduation in 2010. Amanda was involved in Cross Country, Track, Choir, Cheerleading, Peer Facilitating, and Basketball. Amanda’s passion in life was helping others. One of her ways of doing this was to go on mission trips. Amanda went to Guatemala with Sister Parish when she was in 9th grade and went to El Salvador in 2009 with her cousin Alex Schumacher. Amanda was an extraordinary person. She had a special ability to sense when others needed help. Her personality was uplifting, and she always made others feel awesome about who they were. Family was the corner stone of Amanda’s life. She admired and looked up to her little brother, Addison. Amanda loved her grandparents with all her heart and soul. Amanda was and will continue to be very close to her cousins. Each one had a special place in Amanda’s heart. Each cousin knew Amanda in a special intimate way. They were her partners in crime, mission trip buddies, co-pilots, and co-workers. Amanda also had a special place in her heart for her aunts and uncles. She knew she could count on them for anything. Amanda worked at John Deere in Valley City until the summer of 2014 and had recently started at UTC Aerospace in Jamestown. She truly loved her jobs and the support she was given.
Amanda is survived by her parents Roger and Cindy, grandparents Mary and Del Creviston and, her brother, Addison, all of Valley City.
