(NewsDakota.com) The LaMoure-Litchville/Marion boys basketball team will take to the court on Thursday night in the opening round of the 2015 State Class B Boys Basketball Tournament against New England at the Bismarck Event Center.

The Loboes defeated Oakes to win the Class B Region III Championship on Thursday night at the Jamestown Civic Center, and have punched their second ticket to the State B Tournament in three years. LLM comes into the tournament with a record of 18-7.

Meanwhile, the Tigers were winners of Region VII after defeating Dickinson Trinity on Thursday night at Dickinson Trinity High School by 10 points. New England was ranked as the #4 seed in the tournament, and has a record of 22-2.

Three other games will take place before the Loboes and Tigers take the court on Thursday March 19: Game one features #1 Rugby (22-2) vs. Parshall (17-7) at 1 p.m. The second game at around 2:45 p.m. has the defending champions and #3 ranked Fargo Oak Grove (21-4) vs. May-Port-CG (18-6). The night session starts at 6:30 p.m. with #1 Four Winds-Minnewukan (22-2) vs. Shiloh Christian (18-6) followed by the Loboes and Tigers at around 8:15 p.m.
